Skunk Odors in Basement / Crawl Space/autos Odor Kill works by using enzymes/microbes to digest the organic matter (skunk odor molecules) and converting it to CO2 and H2O. Once it has removed the mal odor, it will not come back. The key is for the solution to come in contact with the molecules, so it can digest them. You'll have to mix it 10 parts water and 1 part Odor kill and saturate the basement areas, soil, corners, walls, floors/auto point of impact. It will need to stay wet on the surface for at least 4-8 hours. If the odor has penetrated into the porous concrete, the solution must also penetrate it in order for it to digest the molecules. A low-pressure washer would help force the solution deeper. It may take a couple of applications.... but it will definitely work!  more
