How do I remove super glue from my fingers?
Everybody jokes about someone they know who has glued their fingers together with super glue. You can’t help but think about this every time you use the product. You miraculously avoided this situation so far, but inevitably, the glorious day arrives: you are caught with super-sticky fingers. At this point, panicking will do more harm than good; take a few breaths instead. The fate of your hand is not doomed for all time: super glue is not, after all, permanent. Soak your hand in a basin of soapy water. Scrub to remove as much of the super glue as possible. Rub any fingers together that have become stuck, in order to loosen the glue. Apply an acetone-based nail polish remover to the glued area. This should remove a great deal of the super glue. Wash your hands and slather on a hand lotion. The super glue, combined with the acetone, will dry out and irritate your skin. The oils in the lotion will also help to remove any excess super glue.
