It was working fine. I put a new load of washing in and it started making a banging noise, i switched it of and opened door. I could smell burning rubber. I emptyed it and switched it on again and the banging noise had stopped but was trying to move round but was doing so very very slowly. My uncle thought it was the drive belt, so we bought a new drive belt. My dad went to replace it (as we thought it would be quite easy) but we couldnt get the back off or see where we get into it. It is a Hotpoint Aquarius VTD20 Tumble dryer.
