How do I retitle a vehicle that was titled illegally under an alias with a false id?
My father has three vehicles that were titled in a false name using a false ID. He is now in Jail and I’m trying to figure out how to get possession of his things. To add salt to my wound, the titles were mailed to me and were lost in the postal system. So I need to file for a Duplicate title which requires a notary. However no notary will endorse him, as he is not the same name he used on the titles.
