Once ready, remove the pieces and prepare for final installation.Final InstallationPut a bead of silicone caulk or plumber’s putty around the sink hole where the drain will sit. Ensure there are no gaps. Place the drain ring in place, and tighten from below to make a final seal. Wipe away any excess silicone or putty that squeezes out into the sink bowl.
