The VXI Everon is easy to set up for compatibility. For most phones, you simply insert two AA batteries and set the switches to A-4. If you have the below listed phone systems, you will not need batteries please set the compatibility settings as follows: • Carbon: Position A, and Position 1. • Merlin: Position A or B and Position 2. • Lucent: 6400-8400; Position B and Position 2. • All other electronic phones that can be powered from the handset cord: Position A or B and position 3.
