While travelling outside of the Canada Home Service Area or US/Caribbean you need to set up your computer to use our Asynchronous Data Mode. SETTING UP AN ASYNCHRONOUS DATA CONNECTION: Assuming that your computer is already set up to be able to access the ISP when you are dialing from a landline (hotel, office, home), the easiest way to use asynchronous data over Globalstar is to simply modify the icon that is already working for you over the landline. It is very simple to do this. First, double-click on the same icon that you normal use when connecting via a landline. Then, when the “Connect To” dialog box appears, press the PROPERTIES button on the lower left of the dialog box.
