How do I switch to Quickens Direct Connect?
Note: Backing out of changes in Quicken can be difficult. We recommend, therefore, that you back up your data file before downloading transactions. If you’ve been downloading account information from Vanguard.com using the Quicken Web Connect process and you want to switch to Direct Connect: • Choose the Investing menu in Quicken, then choose Online Center. • Make sure Vanguard is selected as your financial institution. • Click Transactions. • Select an account in the list below the Transactions tab. • Choose Options at the top right side of the screen and uncheck Download this account using Web Connect. Complete this step for each account listed under the Transactions tab. • Click OK when prompted to set your client ID. If you’ve been using Web Connect with your Vanguard accounts, your client ID is already set. • Click Update/Send. • Enter your Vanguard.com password when prompted for your PIN.
