A Timex watch band can be shortened by removing a few links. Place your watch face down on the soft cloth while working on it, to prevent scratching the face or body. Locate the pin holes in the watch band near the buckle. Each link should have one hole that contains a pin running through the band. There should also be an arrow printed on the underside of the band, to indicate the direction to push the pin. Using a very small screwdriver or other small driving tool, push the pin out of the band in the direction of the arrow. You may need to pull the pin out of the other side with your fingers, but be careful not to bend the pin. Remove as many links as are needed to re-size the bracelet. Take links from both sides of
