How do I transfer a Florida car title to Canadian?

No kidding people are balking at buying the vehicle, how are they suppose to transfer it into their name? You have to start by contacting Canadian Border Services and informing them that you wish to import a vehicle into Canada (they will probably be annoyed that it’s already in the country). So now you have to start that paperwork. You will then have to wait until the Registrar of Imported Vehicles sends you a letter stating what changes need to be done to make the vehicle compliant with Canadian safety standards for a vehicle from that era. Once this is done a federal inspection must be completed (I know Canadian Tire garages do these). While your there you might as well complete a provincial inspection (and possible emissions test). Once this is done you will have to take the completed and properly stamped paperwork (and possibly the vehicle depending on what province you live) to where ever does vehicle registrations in your province.
