When updating your software from GRADE 2.2 or GMADE 1.1 to the newer version, the first step in the process is the conversion of data. Before proceeding, please be aware of the following: • Any tests that used raw score entry will not be imported into the new system. • Any categories that were used for desegregating will not be imported, nor will the associations be maintained with test records. • You are only allowed one district. If more than one district is present, you will have to restructure (please see information on how to do so, below). • Teachers are no longer associated with schools. If you have any teachers in the old system that have the same ID, but are in different schools, your data may not convert correctly. • In certain cases, the old software has supported the existence of duplicate students, duplicate test records, or records that are not properly associated.
