How do I update the bbs to show my TUG member status?
If you join TUG after you register for the bbs, it does not automatically update your status on the bbs. You must update your bbs profile to reflect your member status. Fill in • TUG Membership – click the TUG Member button • Email used for TUG Membership field with the email address you used when you joined TUG (may or may not be the same one you used on the bbs) • TUG Password field with the TUG Password you received with your membership materials (this is the password you would use for the members-only sections of the website such as resort reviews, NOT your personal bbs password) Then submit your revised profile. Your revised status will be shown on any new messages you enter thereafter. Your status on any pre-existing messages will not be updated until the next time that topic gets rebuilt, i.e. the next time a new response is added to the thread. It is a good idea to update your member status, as the bbs has several features that are only available to TUG members.
