How do I upload a document (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or PDF)?
• Log into IowaPages. • Click on the Web Site Builder Login button. • Click on the desired web site name. • Click on Site Add-Ons button at the bottom of the web page. • Locate where you would like to place the link for the download/html web page. Then click on the Add it here button. • In the Site Add-Ons web page, click on the Multimedia tab or Multimedia link. • Click on the Add link under File Download. • In the My IowaPages files web page, click on the Upload button. • In the Upload file for visitors to download web page, read the instructions very carefully. Special Note: When uploading an HTML file, users will not actually download the file, but view the file like any other web page. • Click on the Browse… button and locate the file you want to upload on your computer. Special Note for Macintosh Users: In order to ensure files are readable on the Web, make sure you have added the appropriate file extension to the file name prior to uploading.
