How do I use qualitative variables (also called factors or categorical variables)?
By default, glmlab assume that variable entered into its variable windows are quantitative variables. To tell glmlab that a variable is qualitative, use the fac command. For example, if you wish to use a qualitative variable called gender, it would be entered into the Covariates window as fac(gender).
