How do I use the Visa prepaid payment functionality on my Student Campus Card for in–store purchases?
Once you activate the Visa prepaid payment functionality and load your Student Campus Card, you can use it at stores where Visa prepaid cards are accepted electronically as long as the card is valid and you have available funds for use. There is no fee for in-store purchases made in Australia. In-store purchases made outside Australia (in foreign currency or Australian dollars) are subject to an Overseas Transaction fee of 3.0% of the AUD amount. To use your card in store simply: • Swipe your Student Campus Card. • Select the Credit button on the EFTPOS facility. • If the EFTPOS terminal requests a PIN enter your PIN and select the OK button. • If you have not set a PIN you can sign for your purchase.
