How Do Infrared Security Cameras Work?
Infrared security cameras make use of infrared light to capture the images and videos. The reason behind it is that IR light can detect the presence of any object in the dark without the need of any additional illumination. The infrared security cameras make use of thermal imaging in its working and therefore, can detect the presence of any object. Every object emits some amount of heat at everytime and this heat is detected by the infrared illuminator at night, thereby knowing its presence even in the dark.
