How do knife and gun crime affects the economy and how?
I’m not sure what effect if any knife and gun crime here in UK has on the economy. It must have some effect, especially in those areas where such crimes have occured and are likely to again. I do have one piece of information however. About two years ago there used to be lots of teenage boys hanging about at the Blue Water Shopping Centre near Dartford in Kent – hoodies. The owners of Blue Water simply banned anyone wearing a hood – got rid of the hoodies, and guess what? Yup, trade shot up by 25%. That is a staggering increase. So, if the above is anything to go by, I think that street gangs and/or the threat thereof, must be having a very bad effect upon trade in some areas. Here are a few links to have a look at : . . . .
