How do monk special skills work?
Monk skills are unique in that they are all automatic. Monks automatically do much more damage with their bare hands and with staff weapons than with other weapons such as swords, hammers or axes. In addition, every third consecutive attack automatically turns into a “roundhouse” attack which does double damage. Monks also are able to automatically purge their bodies of poison after a few seconds of standing still. Finally, monks get a natural bonus to their armor class statistic (giving them natural “free armor”) every time they level in a Guild.
