How do my international and long distance senders send a fax?
Dialing to a CallWave Fax Line number is no different than dialing to a regular fax machine. It is important to keep in mind and advise your senders that the CallWave Fax Line number is a real phone number in North America and toll charges will apply for senders outside of the area. If the sender is in North America, they will need to dial 1 + 10-digit fax number. If they are calling from a business, they may need to dial 9 or another number to get an outside line. If the sender is outside of the U.S. they must dial the international long distance code including the International Access Code (usually 00) + U.S. Dialing Code (1) + 10-digit CallWave Fax Line number or the call will not go through. The international code may differ depending upon location and the sender should check with their international operator for correct dialing instructions.
