How do new Nakamichi decks compare to earlier models?
Nakamichi is still a good brand but they have buckled to the call of quantity sales. Their earlier models are considerably different than the recent decks. There is what is known as, by analog lovers, the classic Nak warmth. Newer decks just don’t sound quite like the earlier models. Even though, as you have heard/read, they still surpass anything else on the market.
