How do organic farmers make such good apples?
They let as many bugs as want to lay their eggs in the apples to avoid those terrible pesticides. Most organic customers are so thrilled by the thought of eating organic that they don’t realize they are eating maggots from those flies. If they discard the spoiled apples their profits go down somewhat because their yield is lower. That is reflected in the higher prices they charge for the remaining fruit. It is why going organic will never let farms provide all the food that a growing world population needs to survive. Only the rich elite will be able to afford fruit and vegetables in an all-organic world.
