How do others deal with bereavement?

0

When my Grandad passed away my Mum was a wreck, we hadn’t been to see him for over a year because they had an argument. My Gran and Grandad divorced because he cheated on her. He was still with the woman when he passed, so we all felt a bit uncomfortable at the funeral. I still have problems with my Mum and blame her for the fact I never got to say goodbye to Grandad. I think you need to try and talk things with your Mum, if you don’t want to sort things out then don’t. Go to the funeral tomorrow for your Gran not your Mum. Say goodbye properly. Talking to a bereavement councilor helped me so much when my Grandad died. Plus one of my best friends got murdered and my best mates mum died, this all happened in the space of two years. Sometimes it helps to talk to someone who doesn’t know about your family. I hope this makes sense! Also sorry for your loss.
