How do Paint Sprayers Work?
Paint sprayers or spray guns direct use a process called Atomization to spray the paint onto different surfaces. The spray gun directs the paint onto the surface which is to be painted. This paint is formed using a rotary atomizer or an ultrasonic atomizer or by forcing the paint through spray paint nozzles using pressure. The basic paint spray equipments include a spray painting gun, a pressurized container of paint, a system of compressed air and flexible tubes which connect all of them to each other. The container of paint is pressurized and the paint flows from that container to the spray gun via the tubes. The pressure in the container of the paint is responsible for this movement. Atomized air is supplied to the tip of the spray painting gun. This air breaks up the paint into small particles and pushes it out of the spray paint gun to the surface that is being painted. Types of Spray Paint There are a variety of spray paint types available in the market. They are: • Canned or Aer
