How do pension and insurance work in the Missionary Church?

0

Pension and disability insurance plans in the Missionary Church are only on a national basis. Health insurance plans are assembled by districts or groups of districts in most cases, although not all. Health insurance issues are a major concern for all organizations both in the profit and non-profit arenas. No MC district is involved in a self-insurance plan. All existing plans are negotiated with existing health insurance companies or groups (Blue Cross, Aetna, Mennonite Mutual Aid, Humana, etc.). You can read a longer explanation of how the MC pension program works.
