How Do Plants & Animals Adapt to the Rainforest?
Lure of the Rain Forest Rainforests cover a very small percentage of the world. Yet surprisingly, more than half of the world’s plants and animals thrive in them and many species of plants and animals exist only in rainforests. Rainforest weather is hot and humid, but the daily rainfall and temperature make them particularly suitable for growth. Nevertheless, there is plenty of competition for life. So how do these animals and plants adapt to the rain forest for survival? Plants Plants survive by utilizing their distinctive traits to maximize their chances for survival. Many plants manage to grow in unlikely places and may even grow on branches or other plants to get sunlight.
