How do the DINT graduates get registered as RDAs with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (SBDE) in compliance with all relevant regulations after September 6, 2006?
First, they must take an “Approved Provider” course which includes radiology, infection control and jurisprudence. The length of this course could be one or two days and is yet to be determined. A passing score must be made on the test given by the Texas SBDE “Approved Provider” at the conclusion of the course. Finally, they must make a formal written application to the Texas SBDE with evidence of these completions with the application fee of $50.
