How do the Parishes Get Money for a Monument?
This is where The Commandments of God comes into play. Our method of raising funds is a process that does not reduce the amount of normal donations in the weekly collection. Each parish that wants to obtain or participate in the purchase of a monument is assisted in raising funds for their project. We have found that parishioners and members of faith organizations want to be involved. This process helps build the parish community with a common goal that will be seen by everyone in the parish. If adequate funds cannot be raised in a reasonable time, The Commandments of God will donate a reasonable amount of funds to complete the goal.
