HOW DO U MAKE PIZZA DOUGH?
To make pizza dough you need to pour 1 1/2 cups of warm water (test it on your wrist it should be just above room temperature) Pour the packet of active dry yeast into a large bowl. Add 1 Tablespoon sugar and stir. Let mixture sit about 10-15 minutes until it is slightly foamy and cloudy. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt, 2 Tablespoons of olive oil (I like to use extra virgin) and stir. You need 4 cups of flour. Add 1 cup and mix. Add the 2nd cup and mix. Add the 3rd cup and mix. It will get harder to mix. It should be quite thick by now. Add the 4th cup and mix with your hands. Flour your kneading surface and invert the bowl so that you can knead it into a soft ball. This will take a while. You can add more flour if you need it. Flatten the ball and fold in half for about 10 minutes. Coat a bowl with olive oil and place the ball of flour into it and turn it to cover the whole thing in oil. Cover with a towel and place it in a warm, dry place to allow the dough to rise for about 60 minutes
