How do we monitor campus network physical address usage using physaddrwatch?

physaddrwatch is a utility to monitor usage of IP and AppleTalk addresses by NICs’ media physical addresses. It does this by gathering information via SNMP from tables on routers (ipNetToMediaPhysAddress, aarpPhysAddress, respectively). The working directory for physaddrwatch is /opt/net/physaddrwatch. In that directory is a Makefile for which a make is scheduled to run periodically in the net user’s crontab. The list of routers which are interrogated are listed in that Makefile.
