During her appearance at Fatima the Virgin Mary predicted several events in Twentieth-century history. In 1917 the Virgin appeared six times to three peasant children in Fatima, Portugal. She told them that God was deeply displeased with the behavior of the human race and she told them that the faithful need to pray the Rosary frequently for the cause of world peace, that they should increase devotion to her Immaculate Heart and do acts of reparation for their sins and the sins of the world, that another world war would occur if the human race didn’t reform itself, that the faithful should take communion on the first Saturday of every month and that the Pope needed to consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart.
