How do we stop the rapid population growth?
I want you to read Robert Malthus’ essay on the principles of population. His theory, a couple hundred years ago (but still relevant) is that the world would overpopulate itself, and that everyone would starve to death. What he didn’t take into consideration was technology. Due to technological advances we are more capable of feeding ourselves now, and can grow more vegetables, grains, etc. in a finite amount of space.. There are still areas of the world (alot of Canada and the United States) with very sparce popluations…… These areas could afford to grow much larger in population. We will be just fine.
