How do weft hair extensions work?

You cornrow the hair then sew the wefts into your hair. This method is good if you wish to give your hair a break and let it grow.

There are two ways that I know off that you can attach weft hair, sewing it in (not on the scalp, the braided hair) and gluing it in on the hair. Sew in can hurt if the person braids your hair too tight but the pain subsides after a day or two. I would never recommend having too tight braids since it can lead to traction alopecia. Glue in extensions is pretty damaging. But it takes less time to install. I hope this helps.
