The manual transmission oil fill point is in a different place than an automatic transmission, and filling it with transmission fluid requires a different procedure. Allow the vehicle to cool. Use your 3/4 inch wrench to loosen and remove the transmission fill plug by turning counterclockwise. The fill plug is on the right side of the transmission near the front of the transmission case. Check the fluid level by sticking your finger in the fill plug hole and feeling for the top level of oil. The fill point is stamped on the side of the transmission case.
