How Do You Adjust A Kitchenaid Mixer?
KitchenAid makes a variety of kitchen appliances, such as slow cookers, toasters, waffle bakers, microwave ovens, refrigerators and more. But it’s the KitchenAid stand mixer that serves as the company’s icon and logo. Attachments are available for the mixer that can turn the appliance into a meat grinder, pasta maker and even an ice cream maker. When using the mixer you can adjust the speed, but a careless adjustment can send batter flying across the kitchen. Slide the speed control to the “Off” position and unplug the mixer from the electrical outlet before attaching the bowl to the mixer. Move the bowl and lift handle to the down position. Set the bowl on the mixer, over the locating pins, and press down on the back of the bowl until it snaps into place. Slip the desired beater onto the shaft and turn to the left to attach over the shaft pin. Rotate the handle to the straight up position before mixing. The bowl must be raised before processing or the beaters will be partially out of
