This type of adjustment should only be done after a thorough check of the water’s operational system is performed. Low water pressure may be an indication of a malfunctioning system. By following a basic process you can adjust the water pressure switch in a matter of minutes. Remove all electrical power from the pressure switch and pump system by turning “off” the main power that feeds the water pump. Loosen the nut that holds the protective cover over the pressure switch with the small channel lock pliers. The top connector nut should stay in place on the cover after removal. Examine the inside of the pressure switch and observe the two different sized springs and adjustment nuts.
