First introduced in 1955, the Colt Python .357 revolver is largely considered by numerous handgun enthusiasts one of the best revolver-style handguns manufactured in the 20th century. The gun is built on a .41 caliber frame, which allows for the weapon to produce superior accuracy and extreme durability during the course of its life. The sights used on a Colt Python are known as "rear Accro sights." These sights are implemented for use on many revolvers, and the basic adjustment process of these sights is universal on most handguns. Find the elevation screw, located just in front of the rear sight, along the barrel. Turn the screw clockwise to lower the elevation value of the sight. Locate the windage adjustment screw on the right side of the sight aperture. Adjust the screw by turning counterclockwise to adjust for right, and clockwise for left.
