How Do You Adjust The Halogen Headlights In A Toyota Prius?
The halogen headlights in your Toyota Prius allow you to see when you are driving at night. Adjusting the headlights in your Prius is necessary when you change your headlights. There is one adjustment screw located on the top of the headlight housing assembly. The adjustment screw can be turned clockwise to adjust the headlight beam up or counterclockwise to adjust the headlight beam down. Park the Prius 20 feet away from a flat wall. Make sure that the headlights face the wall. Shine the headlights onto the wall. Open the hood and turn the adjustment screw on the top of the housing assembly until the headlight beam shines towards the bottom of the wall where the wall meets the ground. From 20 feet away, this should give you the proper adjustment for the Prius.
