After gaining your US citizenship through naturalization, the natural next step is to apply for a US Passport. I applied for mine right after my oath ceremony. Before (or after) you go for your naturalization oath ceremony search for the nearest passport acceptance facility. Look at the link under resources. Most US Post offices accept passport applications. You have to fill out form DS-11 – Application for a US Passport. Blank forms are available at passport application facilities or you can download a blank form (look for link under Resources) Take 2 identical photograghs.
