How Do You Assemble A Gundam Model Kit?
Building a model of your favorite Gundam is a way to connect to the engaging science-fiction anime universe of the Gundam series. Most Gundam models have manipulable joints and are easily poseable. Gundam kits are typically made of the same type of light plastic as model cars and aircraft and can be assembled in a similar manner. The exception to this is the rubberized “polycaps” that are placed in joints to keep them from wearing out. With a little care, though, your Gundam kit can be turned into an accurate and attractive display model. Spread out the parts trees (the plastic “sprues” to which the parts are attached in the box) and read through the instructions to make sure that all of the parts are there. If there are missing or damaged parts, it may be possible to order replacements via a telephone number on the side of the box. Wash the sprues in warm soapy water, then rinse them gently and allow them to dry. This will greatly improve the adhesion of paint, glue and decals. Paint
