How to bake an incredible chocolate cake from scratch in 17 minutes! That’s right … they will think you have been the kitchen for hours making this mouthwatering recipe! * For cake, sift together * 2 C flour * 2 C sugar * Bring to boil in pan: * 4 T cocoa * 1 C water * 1 stick butter * 1/2 C oil * Pour over dry ingredients, while hot, add * 1/2 C buttermilk * 1 t baking soda * 2 slightly beaten eggs * 1 t vanilla * 1 t salt * mix and pour into greased and floured large 13×18 cookie sheet. * Bake at 400* * for 15-17 minutes. * For icing: * cook together in pan: * 1 stick of butter * 4 t cocoa * 6 T canned milk * then add * 1 lb powered sugar * 1 T vanilla * 1 C finely chopped walnuts * Pour over hot cake, spread icing with large spoon and cool 5 minutes then ENJOY!
