How Do You Bake Chocolate Flourless Cake For Birthdays?
Low-carb diets suck, especially the desserts! You don’t have to eat a boring, tasteless dessert if you are on a low-carb diet. This cake is absolutely rich, delicious, easy to make, and affordable. I first tried this on my own birthday and now I have to make up reasons why I should make more during the year! Preheat oven to 375 F. Melt all of the semi-sweet chocolate and butter in a pan on medium-low heat. Stir frequently. Separate the 4 eggs into two different bowls–one for yolks, the other for whites. Add 1/2 cup of the sugar to the 4 egg yolks and whisk in a large bowl. Add the melted chocolate and beat until the batter forms stiff peaks. Continue beating while you gradually add the rest of the sugar. Fold the egg whites into the batter. Pour the batter into a pan and bake for 35-40 minutes. Cool for several hours before removing from pan and serving. Dust with cocoa powder and/or powdered sugar. Enjoy–and Share! Store in the refrigerator to keep it fresh.
