How Do You Bake Pumpkin Chocolate Brownies?
Looking for a pumpkin dessert recipe? These brownies made from pumpkin puree and chocolate chips might be perfect for you. Line foil on bottom and sides of a 9″ x 13″ baking dish. Leaving some foil overhang on all sides. Lightly grease baking dish with cooking spray, butter, or margarine. Blend together flour, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Set aside. Position rack in center and preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Using an electric mixer on medium-high speed, cream butter and gradually until smooth or soft peaks form. Next add in the whole egg, plus the vanilla extract. Continue mixing until well combined and shiny smooth. Stir in pumpkin puree and then turn speed to low. Mix in dry ingredients from Step 2 and blend until combined. Add and fold in Baker’s chocolate pieces. Spread “pumpkin-chocolate mixture” batter evenly in greased baking dish.
