How Do You Bake Stuffed French Toast?
This stuffed french toast recipe is a great alternative to classic french toast recipes. This breakfast recipe is very easy to make. It also makes for a tasty brunch. Spread the cream cheese spread onto 2 of the raisin break slices. Top the cream cheese with the ham and then cover with the remaining 2 raisin bread slices. Lightly press the edges of each sandwich together to seal. Beat the eggs, milk and sugar with a fork in a pie plate or a square-baking dish until well blended. Dip the sandwiches in the egg mixture. Turn the sandwich over to evenly moisten both sides. Spray a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray and then heat the skillet over medium heat. Add the sandwiches to the preheated skillet and cook for 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown on both sides. Warm the pancake syrup in the microwave and then pour it over the stuffed french toast slices before serving.
