How Do You Bake Yummy Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies?
If you like chocolate chip cookies and oatmeal cookies then this is the recipe for you. You can get the best of both worlds and have a healthy cookie too. Turn on oven to bake using bottom heat only to 350 F degrees. See extra tips below. Put sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl. Cream the butter with the sugar using a large spoon. Butter tastes the best and is natural. Add the vanilla, egg and water to the creamed butter and sugar. Mix again until blended well. Add the flour to the top of the mixture and before stirring again put the salt and soda on top. Now stir again until well mixed. Add the oats, chocolate chips and nuts and stir until moistened and mixed evenly. Place small blobs about a rounded spoonful for each cookie on a greased baking sheet. Put in the oven on the middle rack. when the rack is in the middle they will cook on the bottom and top evenly.
