0

Barrel racing training is the act of riding your horse in a circle as rapidly as possible, going around 3 barrels at the same time. To barrel race a horse, it will take a lot of work, however it definitely pays off in the long run. During the practice of barrel racing, you should be able to go around the first barrel with no problem and turn your horse around quickly. Then head on over to the very last barrel and left spin around it and go back to your finishing point. Make sure before you train your horse, you have time in your schedule for at least two horses of training. When you barrel race a horse, keep in mind it takes much time and patience, so get your horse used to all known commands like turning, stopping, etc. Trot your horse at a medium pace around the barrels. Make sure the horse isn’t running though. All we are trying to do is trot the horse around the barrels to get him acquainted with this practice. To Barrel Race a horse, it will be about 3-5 weeks of intense training
