How Do You Be A Gay Rodeo Cowboy?
When it comes to thrill and excitement, there is nothing quite like the rodeo. Gay rodeo is a serious event and includes all the regular attractions of a traditional rodeo, including bull and bronc riding, steer wrestling and barrel racing. Gay or straight, if you want to pursue this growing attraction, you too can become a gay rodeo cowboy. Contact the International Gay Rodeo Association (IGRA) for participation rules and regulations, as well as listings for upcoming events. The IGRA does not restrict participation to gender or sexual orientation; anyone can participate in the gay rodeo circuit. Locate your local IGRA chapter to participate in local events and practice for your event. From time to time local gay rodeo chapters will organize “buckouts,” which provide training and practice for various rodeo events with actual rodeo, stock animals.
