All the time, radios are like "caller number 10(or 100 or whatever number your radio station uses) wins tickets to the concert!!!" or something like that... and you seem to never make it. While it's pretty much all a matter of luck, there are some things you can pay attention to. • Try not to call too late or too early because the radio station usually starts accepting calls after the contest has been solicited and the new song or commercials have started. • Learn the "delay" of your phone. If you use a cell phone, it usually takes about 5 seconds or so for the call to start, so call ahead. • Enter the phone number of the radio station in your speed dial so that you can push one button to initiate the dialing sequence. This will prevent you from making mistakes in the number. • Remember that the phones inside the studios don't ring out loud and they just have a little flashing light.
