How Do You Bead & String Jewelry?
Children and adults can learn simple techniques to bead and string jewelry to create necklaces, bracelets and earrings for themselves or to give as gifts. A few basic tools and supplies will turn an assortment of plastic, metal or glass beads and decorative accents into simple, but pretty, jewelry to complement any outfit. Handmade jewelry is especially appreciated as a work of art to celebrate holidays, Mother’s Day, a friend’s birthday or any special occasion. Decide on a theme before choosing beads to use in your creation. Decide how long your want your necklace to be (if that’s what you’re going to make) and whether it will be one strand or more.
