How Do You Bead With Artistic Wire?
Artistic wire is copper wire that has been permanently colored to enhance jewelry, scrapbooking, wire wrapping, stamping and other types of craft and home décor projects. You can find artistic wire in 55 different colors and 13 different gauges. Necklaces, bracelets, garden ornaments, suncatchers and candle covers are among the items you can bead with artistic wire. Once you learn how to position beads onto any wire strand, your projects are limited only by your imagination. Unroll 1 foot of either color of your 22-gauge artistic wire from the spool, but do not cut the wire from the spool. Thread one crimp bead, one 4mm bead, one 6mm bead, one 4mm bead and another crimp bead onto wire. These beads equal one set. Repeat this step 25 more times until you have 26 sets of beads on the spool, unrolling the wire as you go. Do not cut the wire from the spool.
