In the state of Missouri, bounty hunters are also known as bail recovery agents and are regulated by the State Department of Insurance. These individuals find those out on bail and fugitives from the law. While the job may sound exciting, it does require some effort. Only after doing specific things can someone become a bounty hunter in Missouri. Complete the initial basic training as outlined on the Missouri Department of Insurance website. Once you’ve completed this step you’ll have one year in which to apply for your bounty hunter license in the state.
